I showed up out here to get away

The housing was cheap it was my only way
I could not afford in town anyway
The full timers attitude's “we’ve got your back”
From the mightiest mansion to the tiniest shack
But the real estate’s booming there’s no turning back
So people are renting to stay in the black
I moved to the county for tranquility
But their idea of fun is a raging party
D-bags from the city are surrounding me
I’m trapped on all sides by AirBnB
There’s no cell phone signal but they didn’t know
So now they’re all here with nowhere to go
Totally lost so they’re driving ‘round slow
I’m waiting for them to come knock on my door
They settle on in then they party till dawn
Never thought I’d be yelling “Get off my lawn”
Though mostly they’re harmless and we get along
I can’t wait till Monday when they’ll all be gone
